The total value of my country's foreign trade import and export in the first five months was 11.54 trillion yuan

The General Administration of Customs announced on June 7 that from January to May this year, my country's foreign trade imports and exports totaled 11.54 trillion yuan. In May, exports continued to continue the positive growth last month.

Customs statistics show that from January to May this year, my country's total foreign trade import and export value was 11.54 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4.9%. In May, my country's total import and export value was 2.47 trillion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4.9%; of which, exports were 1.46 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.4%, and imports were 1.01 trillion yuan, a decrease of 12.7%.

From January to May this year, the import and export of my country's private enterprises maintained growth, and their proportion increased. The import and export of private enterprises was 5.11 trillion yuan, an increase of 1.8%, accounting for 44.3% of my country's total foreign trade value. In May, exports of electronic products such as computers, home appliances, and mobile phones increased by 47.6%, 9.1%, and 3.7%, respectively.
